It is rare that people who like a software product take the time to go to a download site and give it a positive review. This is why you often get a very skewed insight into a software product by looking at its reviews. Because most often you get reviews from people who haven't taken the time to properly try out the software or misunderstood something and got frustrated. This is of course BAD and we try to be as user friendly as possible, but alas we live in a world where very few people actually read software documentation and try to learn more about all the features and how they work before they start using the product. So, in short: You can do a very cool thing if you like us and that is to rate our software.

Support PimpFish by serving your content by pimpfish-link or SLAPfile XML

Did you know that you can offer PimpFish links on your website which directly add a file to the PimpFish downloader if people click on them?
Well, we have one such link on our download page. It is very simple to construct these links, here's an example:

<A href="http://pimpfish-link/http://www.pimpfish.com/download/pimpfish.exe">Hi! I'm a PimpFish download link!</A>

So, basically all you have to do is to put "http://pimpfish-link/" in front of any URL in an A tag (or even javascripts) and then if a user has PimpFish installed the file will automatically be thrown to the background downloader. Neat, eh? :)

You can also use SLAPfiles - Our open, free sharing XML standard - on your website to share content such as image or movie collections with other people!

You can even combine the two so that when you've published a SLAPfile you can publish it in a pimpfish-link link to make it super-easy for other people to grab it :)
